We currentlyBlue Scooter carry 50cc engine scooters. This allows anyone (in the great state of Alaska) 18 years of age or older, or 16 – 18 years of age who is accompanied by an adult (18 years of age or older), who all possess a valid driver’s license, to rent from us.

It might sound complicated, but if you can legally drive a car, you can most likely rent from us.

Questions about licensing for <50cc motor vehicles?
Please refer to this link and to the row below the M3 class license requirements…

Staying in town a while and need a scooter for longer? Ask about special pricing!

We do take reservations for rentals.
The rental will need to be confirmed the day before the rental.

Please have your valid state driver’s license with you at the time of rental.
All rentals will need to be secured with a valid major credit card in the name of the renter at the time of rental.
In a group? You can secure all the scooters with one card.
This might be best suitable for a family situation, or maybe for really good friends, but remember, the card holder is liable for damages to all scooters they are covering.

All scooter rentals come with DOT approved helmets and eye wear, and it’s our policy that they be worn.
HelmetEyewearYou can use your own glasses or sunglasses if you have them.
Alaska state law requires eye protection.

Your rental comes with a full tank of gas to get you around. This should be more than enough for a full day’s ride (considering these scooters get anywhere between 70 to 90 miles to the gallon. However, if more is needed, the renter will be responsible for any fuel over and above that which has been supplied. There are a few gas stations in town that are easily accessible.

There is a short liability waiver that must be signed prior to your rental,
indemnifying Tour de Scooter of personal and public damage that may occur.

It also informs you of the liability you will carry with your rental and extraneous equipment damage charges.
Please read it carefully before scooting off.

Also, it is our policy that there be only one adult per scooter rental. Our scooters weren’t designed for more than one rider, so please be aware that we adhere to this policy when making your rental plans.
